説明
These chopsticks are made by the Wakasa Lacquer Chopsticks brand, a traditional craft with over 400 years of history. While adhering to traditional chopstick-making techniques, craftsmen carefully craft each one.
Chopsticks come in a variety of shapes, including round, square, hexagonal, and octagonal, but as the number "8" indicates, the octagonal shape is considered to be auspicious because it spreads out at the end. In feng shui, it is said that the octagon attracts happiness from all directions and wards off evil spirits.
Wenge is a fine wood native to Africa with a matte chocolate color, and is hard, firm, and durable.
Dishwasher safe.
The color of the chopsticks was inspired by the soft scenery of the Hokuriku region, the sky and sea facing the Sea of Japan, and the weather unique to Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, a major producer of lacquered chopsticks.
Because it is something that you pick up and put in your mouth every day, craftsmen carefully craft each one using only natural materials.
The chopsticks are carefully painted over and over again, giving them a smooth feel, making them an exceptional product you'll want to cherish and continue to use.
They make the perfect gift for a special person.
