説明
These chopsticks are from the "Wakasa Lacquer Chopsticks" brand, a traditional craft with over 400 years of history. While preserving traditional chopstick-making techniques, craftsmen carefully craft each pair.
These are tong-shaped chopsticks, said to be the origin of chopsticks. They are made by bending a single piece of bamboo with heat, so they have a stable flexibility.
Long ago, wood used in Shinto rituals was processed into tweezers, which are still preserved in the Shosoin Repository, which houses the ancient treasures of Nara, and are said to be the origin of modern chopsticks, which are used by combining two sticks together.
Bamboo does not transmit heat well, making it convenient for stir-frying and deep-frying. They are also light, so you won't get tired even if you hold them.
Because they are something that you pick up and put in your mouth every day, craftsmen carefully craft each pair using only natural materials."
