A mamezara(豆皿） is a small plate with a diameter of about 2.5 to 4 inches that fits in the palm of your hand.
The literal translation of the name "Mamesara" is "Bean Plate," where "Mame" means beans and "Sara" means plate. It means a small plate like a bean. These small plates are often used to hold condiments, pickles, or small amounts of food during a meal.
In Japan, some patterns have been considered to bring good luck since ancient times.
This waveform is one of them. Because the waves last forever, it is considered an auspicious pattern that prays for eternal peace.
