説明
Hamamonyo is a textile brand born in Yokohama. Using traditional Yokohama printing techniques, they develop items that harmonize traditional Japanese technology with modern design.
Hamamonyo's products are made from carefully selected cotton fabrics that are soft to the touch and have a nice texture. In addition, they do not use chemicals such as chlorine-based agents, so they are environmentally and human-friendly products.
Tenugui are traditional Japanese multi-purpose thin cloths used as hand towels, dishcloths, and hand towels.
The rectangular 100% cotton fabric, measuring 35.43 inches long and 13.38 inches wide, is filled with designs that look like a painting.
This colorful Yokohama-printed tenugui features a miraculous "upside-down Fuji" where the symbol of Japan, Mt. Fuji, is clearly reflected on the water. The designs of plum blossoms and a warbler, and cranes dancing at the first sunrise are auspicious and welcome New Year's greetings.
They can be enjoyed not only as tenugui towels, but also as interior decorations.
Traditional tenugui towels with unfinished edges will fray over time, but the fraying will disappear naturally. They can be cut with scissors if necessary.
