Which eyes look best on Edo Daruma doll?

"Daruma" is decorated as interior ornaments in today's Japan to help make wishes come true.
Kakinuma Doll's "Edo-Daruma" is a gorgeous lineup of such daruma dolls using Nishijin brocade and Yuzen articles. I bought such a "Edo Daruma (large) Nishijin Pink" as a birthday present for my child.

For an explanation of Daruma dolls, please refer to my previous article (What is the history behind Daruma and how to paint the eyes?).

Two weeks later, the product arrived in a box. The box is nice with a chic Japanese pattern.

When I opened the box, I found the "Edo Daruma" in plastic and a nice purple cushion. The surface of the Daruma doll, made of Nishijin brocade, has a fine, luxurious texture. The surface of the face, which could not be seen in the picture taken at the time of purchase, is also carefully patterned in Nishijin brocade. Two "eyes" are included as an accessory, so it is possible to put eyes directly on the face without using black ink or black magic marker.

Then I took it out of the box and displayed it.
I put the "eyes" on the piece and tried to imagine what it would be like if my wish came true.

It would look more complete with eyes in it.
I thought that children might enjoy it if there were other eye patterns.

Then I bought an eyeball style and a cartoon style for handmade dolls at an online store. I actually put them on.
First, I tried eyeball style the following (50 eyes might be too many, I am scared of the eyeballs),

1.Red eyeballs - It looks feisty, however, it also looks bloodshot.

2.Yellow eyeballs - looks like Avatar from the movie.

3.Pink eyeballs - Match the color of the body,
4.Blue eyeballs - mysterious and lovely. Cool look.

Next I added cartoon style eyes.

5.First cartoon eyes - The eyes are far apart, so as cute as I imagined.

6.Tangled eyes - It looks a little strong. It looks like a Japanese Kabuki actor.

7.Kind eyes - It has kindness.

8.Shy Eyes - I personally like them the best and they are kawaii.

Were there any eyes that caught your attention? I used a pink daruma this time, but the wishes are different depending on the color. I think that the variation of eyes to match will also change.
I would like to try various eyes in the future. I will also try to add my own eyes with sagging eyes.

If you have any other good ideas for eyes, please let us know.
