Kenko Life Corporation, founded in 1994 in Hakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture, started by selling eyeglasses and later expanded to health foods and appliances.

Our name reflects our mission to support people's healthy and happy lives.

We began dispatching acupuncture and moxibustion massage therapists to hospitals and nursing care facilities to help those suffering from poor health.

Working with patients with physical ailments like foot swelling and back pain, we realized prolonged sitting was a major cause.

To combat this, we developed 'ASHIFUMI KENKO LIFE' based on the healthy exercise of 'poor shaking,' which improves circulation and body temperature.

Experience the authentic craftsmanship of 'ASHIFUMI KENKO LIFE,' a wooden health appliance made from 100-year-old Oguni cedar, grown at the foot of Mount Aso in Kumamoto.

The cedar, cultivated since the Edo period, thrives in Oguni Town's unique climate, producing sturdy wood with tight grain.

Geothermal drying in hot springs strengthens the cedar, ensuring durability.

Place both feet on the half-moon-shaped device and swing it side to side, mimicking walking.

This beautiful piece took 28 years to develop and two years to manufacture, with skilled craftsmen dedicating two months to each unit.
