UKIYO HIRARI CHOPSTICK REST SET OF 5, Edo Glass

This is a set of 5 chopstick rests in flower-petal shape from the "Hirari" series of the "Ukiyo" Edo glassware. Produced through a glassblowing technique from the Edo period, it features color motifs from Japanese traditional cultures and the spirit of people from the Edo period.

A historic glass factory in downtown Tokyo collaborated with TOMI GLASS to produce hand-blowing glass products piece by piece, while various colors are applied by sprinkling colored glass powder to provide a tasteful, refreshing feel in various colors.

The shape has an asymmetrical design depicting a petal of cherry-blossom fluttering in the wind. The shape of a flower appears when the 5 pieces are arranged together.

Use these pieces normally as chopstick rests, while you can use each piece in other situations — try it as an aroma diffuser by dripping aroma oil on its dimple. Set up a delightful dining space with these lovely tableware!
