This large daruma kimekomi doll is made of vibrant Nishijin woven fabrics by our skillful Edo kimekomi craftspeople.
Daruma is a traditional Japanese doll which symbolizes accomplishing one’s goal. Traditionally, the left eye is painted when setting a goal and the right eye is painted once the goal is achieved.
You can follow this Japanese tradition or simply enjoy the way it is!
