Description
These chopsticks are made by the Wakasa lacquer chopsticks brand, a traditional craft with over 400 years of history. Craftsmen carefully craft each pair while adhering to traditional chopstick-making techniques.
These gorgeous Wakasa lacquer chopsticks feature a refined jet black luster and the bright milky white color of the shells, which have a variety of hues.
The shells that appear to be embedded in the chopsticks are created by sealing the shells inside the chopsticks, applying multiple layers of lacquer, and then sharpening them again and again. No two chopsticks are the same, and they show the depth of handiwork.
The chopsticks come in a luxurious paulownia box. The lid has the name of the traditional craftsman who made the chopsticks. In addition, the included leaflet contains the maker's passion for the product and his career history, making it clear that this is a product that generously demonstrates the precious techniques of traditional craftsmanship.
