Description
Chopsticks are made by the Wakasa Lacquer Chopsticks brand, a traditional craft with over 400 years of history. Craftsmen carefully craft each one while preserving traditional chopstick-making techniques.
The chopsticks themselves are shaped like a five-petal flower. That's why they are called Hanataba, which means "bouquet of flowers."
Because they are something you pick up and put in your mouth every day, they are made by craftsmen using only natural materials and carefully crafted one by one.
Lacquer chopsticks are painted evenly and carefully many times, making them smooth to the touch and a masterpiece that you will want to continue using carefully.
Chopsticks are considered auspicious gifts in Japan. For that reason, they are also used as wedding gifts to pray for long life and lasting happiness.
They are the perfect gift for someone special.
