Description
Chopsticks are made by the Wakasa Lacquerware brand, a traditional craft with over 400 years of history. While preserving the traditional techniques of chopstick making, craftsmen carefully craft each one.
They use Joboji-nuri, a precious and high-quality Japanese domestic lacquer. It is a glossy lacquerware that becomes more beautiful the more you use it.
Because it is something you pick up and put in your mouth every day, craftsmen are particular about using only natural materials and carefully crafting each one.
Lacquer chopsticks are painted evenly and carefully many times, making them smooth to the touch and a masterpiece that you will want to continue using carefully.
Chopsticks are considered to be auspicious gifts in Japan. For that reason, they are also used as wedding gifts to pray for long life and lasting happiness.
They are the perfect gift for someone special.
