Description
These chopsticks are made by the "Wakasa Lacquer Chopsticks" brand, a traditional craft with over 400 years of history. While adhering to traditional chopstick-making techniques, craftsmen carefully craft each one.
This is a work by traditional craftsman Yohei Nakata.
The bamboo is cut into a hexagon from the handle to the tip of the chopsticks and finished with lacquer. Using flexible Sanuki Moso bamboo, the chopsticks are carved into an extremely thin hexagon from the handle to the tip with the advanced techniques of a skilled craftsman. When you put them in your mouth, you can enjoy the taste of the ingredients themselves, as they are so soft that you don't even feel the chopsticks.
They are light and comfortable to hold, even for those with weak fingers, and the hexagonal shape acts as a non-slip surface, making it easy to grab ingredients.
Because they are something you pick up and put in your mouth every day, craftsmen carefully craft each one.
Lacquer chopsticks are carefully painted over and over again, giving them a smooth feel, making them a masterpiece that you will want to continue cherishing.
They are the perfect gift for someone special.
