Description
These chopsticks are from the Wakasa-nuri chopsticks brand, a traditional craft with over 400 years of history. While adhering to traditional chopstick-making techniques, craftsmen carefully craft each pair.
The shells scattered on the handles of the chopsticks are designed to resemble peony petals. The irregularly shaped petals are regularly arranged against the red and black base colors, making them very gorgeous. Peony is a flower that represents eternal youth and longevity and is considered to be auspicious.
A thick, shell-designed chopstick rest is included. The rounded shape is cute and refreshing. The gentle blue color brings brightness to the dining table. Although the chopsticks are rounded overall, they fit into the hollow of the conch shell.
Because they are something you pick up and put in your mouth every day, craftsmen carefully craft each pair.
Urushi-coated chopsticks are carefully painted over and over again to achieve a smooth feel, making them a masterpiece that you will want to treasure and use forever.
They are also perfect as gifts for loved ones.
