Made in collaboration with the traditional Kutani-ware craftsmen, this tanuki uses real gold, bringing a modern twist to the traditional pottery.
This male tanuki is prepared for when disaster falls, protecting himself with the “kasa” straw hat. In his hands, he holds a “tokkuri” sake flask and a passbook to represent trust and virtue.
The signature round belly shows that he is bold yet calm in any situation and he is ready to bring good fortune to you.
