This is a celebratory Daruma doll made of gold-red crystal glass with elaborate cuts.
With both eyes firmly fixed on the world, the Daruma is designed to ward off misfortune and evil.
The back of the doll is decorated with the auspicious patterns "shikaku kagome" and "nanako" .
