These rocks glasses are decorated with the auspicious "Kagome" pattern.
In Japan, the number 8 is thought to bring good luck, and the "octagonal kagome" design, which has the meaning of repelling evil spirits, is often used because it shines beautifully when light hits it, reflecting in all directions.
