Description

Hishi (flower) in full bloom
This Edo faceted vase is made of blue colored crystal glass with a delicate cut pattern.
The water chestnut pattern is said to be derived from the shape of the leaves and fruits of the water plant "hishi" and is considered an auspicious pattern to wish for prosperity of offspring and good health, as hishi thrive vigorously.
The combination of the bold cut expressing the four petals in the center and the fine hemp leaf pattern brings out the diverse expressions of Edo faceting.
The vase emits a beautiful sparkle every time it catches the light, enhancing the arrangement of flowers and adding a quality color to the room.
It is recommended not only for daily use, but also as a gift for anniversary occasions such as weddings and housewarming parties.
