Description

Faceted vase lit by the light of day
This Edo faceted vase was designed and cut by traditional craftsman Tatsuya Nemoto.
The bright yellow colored crystal glass is cut in straight lines rising from the bottom, bringing out a gorgeous and warm expression reminiscent of the light and heat of a blazing bonfire.
At the center of the piece is delicately engraved the traditional "Kiku Tsunagi" pattern, which is representative of Edo faceting.
The "Kiku Tsunagi" is a pattern of continuously arranged chrysanthemum flowers symbolizing longevity and good health, and is a design of good omen with a wish for unceasing happiness and prosperity.
This work, which combines strength and gentleness, is not only a vessel to enhance ikebana arrangements, but also a vessel that can be used as an interior decoration to brightly color your space.
It is also ideal as a gift to warmly illuminate life's milestones, such as housewarming, wedding, and kanreki (60th birthday) celebrations.
