Description
Hamamonyo is a textile brand born in Yokohama. Using traditional Yokohama printing techniques, they offer items that combine traditional Japanese technology with modern design.
Hamamonyo's products are made from carefully selected cotton fabrics that are soft to the touch and have a nice texture. In addition, they do not use chemicals such as chlorine-based agents, so they are environmentally and human-friendly products.
Tenugui are traditional Japanese multi-purpose thin cloths used as hand towels, dishcloths, and hand towels.
The rectangular 100% cotton fabric, measuring 35.43 inches long and 13.38 inches wide, is filled with designs that look like a painting.
This colorful Yokohama-printed tenugui depicts the symbol of Japan, Mt. Fuji, lit up by the morning sun in a "red Fuji." Red Fuji symbolizes prosperity in business and the fulfillment of wishes, and the auspicious design of dancing cranes makes it a recommended pattern for new beginnings such as store openings and business opening celebrations.
It can be enjoyed not only as a tenugui but also as interior decoration.
Traditional tenugui with unfinished edges will fray over time, but the fraying will disappear naturally. You can cut it with scissors as needed.
